A Little About George

I’ve been a professional caricature artist since 1991, when I drew at my first Officers’ Mess event. Since then I’ve worked all corners of the globe, first with my pens and then with my iPad.
After leaving Uni with my BA in Graphic Design, I began developing a unique digital style, this was picked up by TV TIMES, who published my digital caricatures weekly from 1999-2003. I continued developing this vector style and am currently published regularly in GQ magazine amongst others. Proud to be the only regularly published live caricaturist in the UK.
I drew on my first digital tablet in 2008 for HP in Barcelona, which was a baptism of fire, with just an hour to practice and working alongside the great digital maestro, Harold Hugenholtz. It was tough, but I persisted with various new tablets; for Intel on the MS Surface, for Samsung on the Slate, then the Galaxy 10.1 tab. After launching the Samsung Galaxy phone in London, Samsung took me around the world, drawing at F1 in Bahrain and Dubai, then they asked me to head the team of digital artists who followed the Olympic Flame around the UK in 2012. We drew at 66 locations over 71 days on tiny Samsung phones, exhausting but it was my proudest moment!
I discovered the iPad Pro in 2015 and fell in love. To date I’ve drawn for most major electrical/IT companies; Intel, HP, Microsoft, Xerox, Canon, Samsung, Philips, Ricoh, Sharp and recently for Adobe. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing all 400 Adobe staff and look forward to my next digital challenge. Could it be for your company?
